Microneedling

The First Line of Defense in the Battle against Aging

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a non-invasive therapeutic technique that vertically pierces the skin to naturally stimulate collagen and elastin with minimal epidermal damage, while enhancing skin rejuvenation.  This treatment is the latest cosmetic treatment for your skin by reversing the signs of aging and at the same time, it is very simple, effective and non-invasive.

What it does?

Microneedlings main source is to produce collagen. While producing collagen it helps improve scarring (acne and keloid), hyper-pigmentation, stretch marks, minimize pore size, helps fill in fine lines and wrinkles as well as tightens, lifts and rejuvenates the skin.  Microneedling can be safely used on nearly all parts of the body.

Micro-injuries that are created stimulates the body’s natural wound healing process, resulting in cell turnover. It encourages and harnesses the power of the body’s ability to grow and repair itself naturally.  Micro-injuries are bleeding and platelet release. These two injuries help with epidermal growth and tissue proliferation which is the growth of new tissues.

How it works?

Microneedling is typically performed with a series of 4-6 treatments spaced out 4 weeks apart. Before the procedure topical numbing is applied onto the face.

Microneedlings automated vertical stamping method uses a universal, sterilized, and disposable tip that can penetrate from .25mm to 2.5mm which will create small puncture wounds that pass through the Stratum Corneum reaching to the Dermis layer. The small tip helps treat hard to reach ares, delivers unrivalled collaged induction with 7 speed variability and reduces epidermal damage to limit down time.

How Microneedling and PRP work together!

Microneedling is a great procedure overall, but results can be greatly improved with Platelet Rich Plasma or Growth Factors. Growth factors are important for new cell generation and cellular functions, such as creating new collagen and elastic fibres. Growth factors are extremely abundant in our platelets. Microneedling will create access for platelets to enter the skin, once the platelets are deep in the skin, their granules are activated with a higher concentration to induce extra collagen, new cells, and an increase in normal vascularity of the skin.
